What this service does.
Callers with mice, rats or other rodents in Steilacoom, or in the neighboring Pierce, Thurston and King County places on the areas page, reach us by phone. The line is staffed at every hour, and visits get arranged from the call.
You will not find staff biographies, license numbers, a founding year or customer reviews here. None of that has been provided for publication, so none is shown. When a technician arrives, ask to see credentials, as you would with any contractor.
How a job is organized.
A visit begins by looking. The technician checks the attic, crawl space, garage, yard and roofline, identifies the animal and works out how it gets in. The plan and the price are explained first, and work starts afterward.
Trapping takes out the animals present, and sealing blocks the next group. Cleanup and repair follow, once nothing can return.
- A walk-through first, so the plan reflects what is actually present.
- Traps and stations placed where kids and animals cannot get at them.
- Gaps stopped up with sheet metal and steel mesh instead of anything gnawable.
- A second visit that confirms the result instead of assuming it.
Poison and safety.
Federal rules narrow what a household may purchase against rodents, and the EPA page in the sources block lays out those limits. We favor trapping and sealing, and when a product is used we state which one and where it sits.
Cleanup follows CDC advice, so droppings are soaked in disinfectant instead of swept, and everything goes into bags. We are not clinicians, and we say nothing about anyone's exposure or health.
Where we go.
We serve Steilacoom, ZIP 98388, plus seventeen nearby places ordered by distance on the areas index. Tacoma is far larger than the part we cover, so whether we reach an address there turns on its ZIP code, which we verify first.
The street address in the footer is a citation address and not an office. Nobody works there, and the job happens at your property.
What the call looks like.
Whoever answers asks for your location, what you saw and the date it began. If you can safely photograph droppings or damage, that picture helps. Knowing the species in advance is unnecessary.
Pricing follows the walk-through, once the scope is clear. When a request falls outside our work, you hear that during the call, and nobody is sent out for nothing.
Would you rather hear it from a person? The number below is the same line at noon or at 3 a.m.
Dial (888) 686-4821What to do before a technician arrives.
Do not sweep or vacuum droppings, keep children and pets away from the affected room and leave existing traps in place. Safety comes before tidiness, and the technician reads the evidence better when it is undisturbed.
Why the limits are spelled out.
Certain things cannot be promised. Nobody can count the animals in a wall before looking, and nobody can guarantee that none will ever return. Our part is locating each opening, shutting it with tough materials and checking afterward that it held.
- The animal is named from evidence and not from a phone guess.
- Trapping, sealing, cleanup and repair are priced separately so each cost shows.
- You hear where traps and stations go and why.
- You are left with notes covering findings and actions.
The setting in plain terms.
Steilacoom is a town on Puget Sound that has a historic district, a ferry terminal and neighbors such as Lakewood and Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Some lots face the water and others stand beneath tall trees. Say which describes your house, and the technician knows which side to examine first.
